Some may not have heard of the term Generational Trauma, Transgenerational trauma, Multigenerational trauma, or Intergenerational trauma or if you are like me, raised up in a Baptist family we call the term Generational curse. Whatever name you wish to address it with the term is a psychological term which asserts that trauma can be transferred in between generations. I haven't done a survey or have the stats as for if this type term of trauma roams more throughout a precise race or gender, but I do know it is a concern. I want you to go along with me to explore this psychological term discovering its negative components. Please join me on this journey to find out about important information for this mental health issue. I believe the facts of knowledge you receive will help you to determine if you suffer from this type of trauma or if you know of someone who does in an effort to begin healing. Please click the link below to start the research. MentalHealth.gov states Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood.

These times we are facing from Covid-19 to job lost and having a hard time making ends meet to put a meal on the table can put a burden on the best of us.  I wish I had a magic wand to make it all go away and sprinkle a little of love around to combat the social distress the country is facing. Since I cannot do that let me do what I can. Did you know engaging in a general conversation does wonders for stress. Let us start there, we all need the comfort of knowing someone is there, let me be that someone. Please comment to open a dialog with me to at least take our mind off of life bumps. I am here waiting on you

Did you know that loving yourself first will help you to love others?

We may understand what self-love is but don't understand that self-love is the foundation from which everything develops. Eating is something that we do because we know that we need nourishment however; most are trying to get better at finding love, success, and/or happiness but don't understand self-love. Self-love is the first step to mastering anything else. Loving yourself sometimes may feel hard to do because what we believe negatively about ourselves and we allow the negative feeling to bring us to a place where we feel we are not worth self love. Well let me tell you, that you are wrong. YOU deserve to LOVE YOURSELF.
